The Namakwala story is ultimately a story of people, principles and generations.
In 1945, Late Shri Badrilal Lohia established the foundation of the business in Bhilwara with a vision rooted in quality and trust.
His son, Shri Narayan Lal Lohia, carried that vision forward. His focus on professional salt grinding and hygienic consumer packaging helped introduce new standards of consistency and reliability to the Indian salt market.
In 2000, the third generation opened a new chapter by taking the business into international markets. What had begun as a family enterprise in Rajasthan was now developing relationships beyond India.
Each generation has brought something different—vision, innovation, professionalisation and global ambition—while preserving the values established at the beginning.
Today, the Namakwala legacy is not simply measured by the years behind us. It is reflected in the trust earned from customers, the standards maintained across our operations and the responsibility we carry toward the next generation.
We do not see legacy as something to preserve unchanged.
We see it as something to strengthen, evolve and pass forward.
1945 → Foundation
1960 → Professionalisation
1975 → Consumer Expansion
2000 → Global Markets
Today → A New Generation of Growth
“The strongest legacy is one that gives the next generation something even greater to build.”
